Paternity Test may Lead to Senna's Exhumation

Tuesday February 8th, 2000

Ayrton Senna's remains could be exhumed following his ex-girlfriend's demands for a paternity test.

Marcella Praddo, who was linked to Senna for seven years, between 1985 and 1992, claims her six-year-old daughter, Victoria, is the child of the Formula One champion, who was killed in 1994. Senna had always denied this. However, Praddo, a former Playboy model, now hopes that a DNA test will prove Senna is indeed the father of Victoria.

According to the German paper, Die Welt am Sonntag, Praddo is setting out to claim half of the driver's estate, which is estimated to have $150 million annual profit made on the sale of articles relating to Senna.
