Newcomers Toyota said today they will launch the 2002 Formula One car on December 17th at the team's factory in Cologne, Germany.

The Japanese carmaker, who will enter Formula One for the first time next year, is expected to be the first of the 12 teams competing next year to launch its car. However, they will not be able to test the car until January, when the winter testing ban ends.
