Italian Luca Badoer tested on Monday for the Ferrari team at their Fiorano test track, driving the F2001 chassis before this weekend's Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal.
The team's test driver covered a total of 47 kilometres, doing some practice starts and testing some components, but no times were issued.
Also at Fiorano, Ferrari presented the "Podio Ferrari" prizes, awarded to tyre supplier Bridgestone and brake manufacturer Brembo for their contribution in last year's championship, where the Italian team won both the drivers' and constructors' titles.
The awards were given to Bridgestone Europe's president Shoshi Arakawa, and Brembo's president, Alberto Bombassei.
