Ralf Schumacher will join his brother Michael in racing at this month's United States Grand Prix, despite the attacks on New York and Washington.
Ralf, with the Williams-BMW team, told German television station DSF: "It's very difficult to weigh up how safe or unsafe it all is.
"(F1 chief) Bernie Ecclestone and (FIA president) Max Mosley have taken this decision and I respect that. So I'll drive. There's no question about that at all."
The German brothers had admitted they found it hard to concentrate during Sunday's Italian Grand Prix at Monza, which went ahead five days after the attacks on New York and Washington. Ralf Schumacher had last week described plans for Formula One to fulfil its Indianapolis date as a "bad joke".
But Ecclestone insisted the September 30 race would go ahead, and on Monday, Ferrari's World Champion Michael Schumacher dispelled rumours that he would not race in the U.S.
