F3000 stars Antonio Pizzonia and Ricardo Sperafico have been testing for the past three days for the WilliamsF1 team in Estoril, alongside Ralf Schumacher and the team's test driver Marc Gene.
Pizzonia drove on the first day, Sperafic on the second - yesterday - and then they had half a day each today. In total, Pizzoniadid 507 kms while Sperafico did 511 kilometres.
Testing focused on tyre testing for Michelin and also chassis and engine testing, and the team said all in all it was a very successful three days.
"I really enjoyed driving the car," Sperafico said today. "It was a great experience for me and I definitely learnt a lot. This is the first time I have driven a Formula One car on a proper track. What this has taught me is there is a big difference between F1 and F3000, but the engineers did a great job helping me make the transition."
Pizzonia, who already had a chance driving a Benetton, drove an F1 car today for the first time in the wet, and was impressed with the help of traction control in such conditions.
"This was the first time I had driven a Formula One car in the wet but with the traction control it was not too difficult," he said. "All in all I am really pleased with how everything went."
Williams did not release lap times for any of the three-days of testing.
