Ferrari Wrap Up Three-Day Test at Monza

Thursday April 18th, 2002

Brazilian Luciano Burti concluded on Thursday a three-day test for the Ferrari team at the Monza circuit in Italy.

The test driver was again in action at the wheel of a revised F2001 chassis, concentrating on testing different tyres compounds for Japanese manufacturer Bridgestone. Burti, who completed a total of 83 laps, had to drive again around a provisional track, with a modified first chicane.

"The three days of testing have been very productive, where we have been running with continuity and we have gathered interesting indications for the development of the tyres," said Burti. "It was nice to be back on such a special track, on which I last raced on in 2000."
