Brazilian Luciano Burti continued working for the Ferrari team at the Jerez circuit, testing at the Spanish circuit for the second consecutive day.
The World Champions' test driver, again at the wheel of a revised version of last year's F2001 chassis, concentrated on tyre testing for Bridgestone as the Italian squad prepare for the Monaco Grand Prix. Burti set a fastest time of 1:21.774 after 114 laps.
The Brazilian will continue testing at Jerez on Thursday, when he will be joined by the British American Racing team and their test driver Anthony Davidson, who was in action today at Valencia.
