Seven current Formula One teams are attending the ninth Festival of Speed at Goodwood this weekend, hosted by owner Lord Charles March.

BAR is represented by test driver Darren Manning; Benetton by Jenson Button; Jaguar with Eddie Irvine; McLaren with Alexander Wurz; Williams with Juan Pablo Montoya; Minardi with Andrea Piccini and Ferrari with Luca Badoer.

The Formula One event today consisted of a parade run twice along the 1.886 km course, which runs through Goodwood Park. "I am very happy to be able to take part in this event," said Badoer, who flew in to England after four consecutive days of testing at Fiorano.

"There are so many beautiful historic cars here and it is nice to be with colleagues and the public enjoying an atmosphere which is completely different to that a usual Formula 1 race. These sort of events are very good for motor sport."
