Formula One World Champion Michael Schumacher visited on Thursday the vineyard of Farinet in Saillon, Switzerland, as he began his vacation following the final race of the season in Japan.

Schumacher, who has clinched his fourth title this season, helped to press wine, which will be mixed with this years vintage of the Farinet vineyard. The German Ferrari driver has admitted that he is happy the season is over and now he is looking forward to spending time with his family.

"I am happy the season is over, even if it was without a doubt, the best of my career," said Schumacher. "But a season like this one is pretty tiring. I would like to spend a week like a normal family."

The small vineyard of Farinet, named after a famous Swiss money forger who lived in the 19th century, has belonged to the Dalai Lama since 1999. All the profits from the sell of the wine will be donated to an undisclosed social organisation. Other celebrities like football star Zinedine Zidane, Princess Caroline of Monaco, and actor Peter Ustinov have also visited the vineyard.
