Schuey Happy for New Father Ralf

Thursday October 25th, 2001

Michael Schumacher is relieved that the baby of brother Ralf and wife Cora is fit and well after the child, named David, was born three weeks premature.

Four-time World Champion Schumacher and wife Corinna already have two children, and the Ferrari man has put experiences with his own son and daughter as some of the best moments in his life.

"Corinna and I are tremendously happy for Ralf and Cora, in particular also because all went well," said Michael Schumacher. "A child is simply the most beautiful thing in the world. I think I can say that Gina-Maria and Mick are already looking forward to having a new playmate.

"When I heard of the little one's birth yesterday I naturally had to think of our two straight away - the days they were born belong to the most cherished moments on my life."

Williams man Ralf Schumacher married Cora Brinkmann just three weeks before the birth of the couple's first child this week.
