Wednesday January 22nd, 2003

De la Rosa Becomes a FatherSpanish driver Pedro de la Rosa became a father for the first time on Tuesday, when his wife Reyes gave birth to a baby girl in Barcelona, Spain.

Georgina, as the baby girl was named, was born by cesarean in a hospital in downtown Barcelona, and both her and the mother were reported to be fine.

31-year old de la Rosa, who drove for the Jaguar team last season, is yet to announce his plans for 2003 after being dumped by the Ford-owned outfit at the end of last year.
