Tests at Barcelona + end results; Schumacher and Ferrari

Schumacher outpaced Damon Hill today at the tests at Barcelona (Spain). The German put his 7speed Ferrari just ahead of the Williams-Renault of Hill with a 1:22.098, Hill 1:22.481. Barrichello was third with 1:22.726.

The end results of the three days of testing were:

Schumacher and Ferrari

Schumacher is reported to have asked an extra amount of 10 million US $ for the contract until 1998. To the question why he wanted so much money Schumacher answered: "As a businessman I want the maximum."

Ferrari is vey keen on keeping Schumacher within the team and is expected to pay.
