Second day for Ferrari at Jerez

Sunday March 21st, 1999

This was the second and last day of testing for the Scuderia Ferrari-Marlboro at the Jerez circuit. Testing began at 10:00am, with Michael Schumacher and Eddie Irvine completing two different programs. The German driver continued working on the set-up and on the aerodynamic balance of his F399. He did a total of 47 laps, with a best time of 1:26.362.

Eddie Irvine's task was to complete a Grand Prix distance. After some set-up runs in the morning, the simulation started at around 2 p.m. It was divided in three sections, all completed successfully. The Irish driver did 98 laps, the quickest in 1:25.887.
