FIA Announces 2000 Provisonal Entry List
Thursday December 9th, 1999
The FIA today released the provisional entry list for the 2000 season.
Of particular interest is Alex Zanardi's name remaining on the list, however the list is only provisional, and changes can be made up until 4 pm on the Thursday before the first race should circumstances change. Also of interest is the change of the name of the BAR team, appearing to confirm that they will have a predominantly Lucky Strike livery in 2000. However, it is unclear why the Minardi entry does not contain an engine manufacturer's name, as it would seem extremely unlikely they would be using powerplants of their own construction.
