Current Formula One World Champion Michael Schumacher will play a small role in a German movie, according to a report in the Focus magazine.

The Ferrari driver, who had previously starred in some television commercials, will be joined by former tennis star Boris Becker and super model Claudia Schiffer in the movie "Faust and Mephisto".

The movie will tell the story of a modern Faust in the form of a taxi driver, who sells his soul to the devil, and Schumacher will play himself in a short role.

The shooting will begin next April.
