Williams Open Their Doors to F1 Fans

Friday May 4th, 2001

The Williams Formula One team have organised some special 'Race Days' to be held at the Grove-based team headquarters, in order to give the opportunity to watch a Grand Prix from the heart of the team's facility.

The itinerary for the day will a rare insight for Formula One fans: from live coverage of the race itself, through to a personal tour around the private Williams Grand Prix Collection, question and answer sessions, and a live satellite link to Frank Williams in the pits at the Grand Prix.

"The excitement created by a Grand Prix can rarely be experienced outside the track," said team boss Frank Williams. "But now a limited number of people can experience the atmosphere and emotion of a Grand Prix at the heart of our team's headquarters."

To participate, fans must fill a booking request on the team's website and pay some £300.
