Jordan Deny Interest in Coulthard

The Jordan Grand Prix team have denied rumours about being interested in hiring Austrian Grand Prix winner David Coulthard for the 2002 season.

Several rumours published in the British press indicated that the Scot holding talks with the Silverstone-based team in order to drive for them next season.

However, Jordan denied the speculation on Monday, saying they are satisfied with their current drivers Jarno Trulli and Heinz-Harald Frentzen.

"In response to various reports claiming that Jordan is talking to David Coulthard about joining the team, Jordan Grand Prix would like to state categorically that this is untrue and is based upon rumours without substance," said the statement.

"Jordan Grand Prix is very happy with its current driver line-up and is not looking to make any changes."
