Ferrari Deny Restructuring Rumours

Tuesday June 19th, 2001

Ferrari have denied rumours published in the Italian press concerning a possible restructuring of the company into three separate companies.

According to Autosprint magazine, the historic Italian marque would split into three different entities over the next three years as part of a plan aimed to attract minority shareholders. However, on Tuesday, Ferrari released a statement denying the reports.

The statement said: "Ferrari categorically denies stories which have emerged in the media about the supposed division of the company into three separate entities. Such a move has never been considered and therefore these rumours are completely without foundation."
